Job Description
This will be a Web Master/Designer primarily using WordPress – 25% new development and 75% maintenance. SEO, Adobe, Graphics front end. Need to have some understanding of CSS, Python, JavaScript so you can interact with the Developer they use for back-end development from an outside agency.

Our client is looking for a dynamic and creative Webmaster that understands the importance of creating modern, engaging online assets to reflect our distinctive technology, while inspiring interaction and driving awareness among employees, partners, end users, and anyone that loves the aerospace industry! In this role, our ideal candidate would possess an intuitive sense for creating digital assets that bring the company’s technology to life, while staying true to the company’s overall business strategy and product/service marketing objectives.

As a member of the Marketing Team, the Webmaster is expected to roll up his/her sleeves, juggle several projects at once, and take ownership of our various online assets. The ideal candidate will have a creative eye with the skills to design and develop consistent desktop and mobile web products with intuitive and engaging UX/UI.


Responsibilities
What you’ll do:
Independently oversee the day-to-day management and maintenance of all companies’s online sites, as well as liaise with the externally managed Investor site.
Troubleshoot issues as they arise and provide superior customer support as needed, ensuring issues are resolved quickly according to SLAs.
Conceptualize, develop and implement engaging web pages, modules, and digital tools that provide an excellent user experience with clear CTAs that drive readership and/or sales.
Partner with content marketing and PR teams to develop customer-facing and internal web pages for mobile and desktop users, utilizing interactive and engaging design elements and media.
Track and analyze sites’ analytics to determine areas in need of updates and/or improvements.
Propose creative solutions and implement approved changes.
Lead B2B and B2C search engine optimization (SEO) strategy development and partner with advertising and content marketing teams on keyword identification, meta data creation, and cohesion between organic and paid search campaigns.
Support lead capture/generation efforts across site through CMS, form development, and custom page gating.
Support digital advertising program through organic SEO practices, KPI analysis, keywords integration, and consistency in visuals.
Support content team in marketing automation / lifecycle marketing strategy implementation
Recommend policies and/or workflows for web content development, and ensure full team is aware of updates, projects, etc. across any Iridium digital property.

Structure documents to clearly convey issues and multi-faceted analysis.
Synthesize information to provide summarized recommendations.
Contribute to and implement digital strategies for SEO and site accessibility.
Demonstrate advanced knowledge and stay current and up-to-date with the latest web tools, design trends, SEO and accessibility best practices, and other technologies -- constantly looking for ways to improve site design and solutions to enhance customer experience.
Manage simultaneous projects from concept through execution while meeting deadlines.
Effectively manage and prioritize assignments for self and vendors, adhering to deadlines, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a technical discipline or equivalent work experience.
You have been working in the web world, with 8+ years website management and or website development experience under your belt. Specific training and/or educational degree can be considered towards experience requirements. Bonus points if you have a background in telecommunications or a space related field.
Advanced/Expert in WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, other custom CMS platforms, Google Analytics, Google Ads.
Proficient in MailChimp, Sprout Social, and other Social Media Analytic Dashboards, Bootstrap, MySQL, Jira.
Proficient in Wireframing/Prototyping (i.e. Figma, Adobe XD, etc.).
Language proficiency in C#, CSS, PHP, HTML, SQL, ASP.NET, JavaScript, Python and Visual Basic.
Design Experience in Adobe Creative Suite; specifically, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign a plus.
Mobile app development experience on iOS and/or Android platforms a plus.
Knowledge of B2B, B2C, and/or B2G marketing communications is a plus.
