Job Description
The Desktop Support Engineer will provide fast and useful technical assistance on computer systems. They will answer queries on basic technical issues and offer advice to solve them. This role will require someone who is extremely detail-oriented and appreciates people who take an organized, systematic approach to achieving success. A successful Desktop Support Engineer enjoys having conversations with (and helping) small to medium business owner, likes to build relationships with people and providing a true “Wow” experience.

Provide Tier 1 and Tier 1.5 technical support
Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers
Walk the customer through the problem-solving process
Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel

Must have at least 2 years’ experience supporting Windows in a commercial environment
Intermediate Level: Windows desktop OS skills (Windows 7/8.1/10)
Intermediate Level: Windows Office application suite skills
Intermediate Level: Apple MacOS skills (MacOS 10.x.y)
Beginner-Intermediate Level: Windows (Server 2008/2012/2016)
Beginner-Intermediate Level: Network, UTM, Firewalls, Inter-intranet
Intermediate Level: MSO365 and Google apps
Must have or pass A+ exam within 6 months
Must have good troubleshooting skills, ability to self manage and find solutions
