Job Description
The Technical Account Manager will act as the primary client liaison. This role will be the point of contact for all critical client issues, handle communications escalations and priorities. The Technical Account Manager will set priority, monitor, and adjust for possible gaps in ticket closure or project workflow based on clients’ needs. They will also act as a project manager to ensure projects are on time and within budget for customer implementations, projects, changes, and onboarding.

Direct L1, L2, L3 technical staff related to project workflow
Propose technical solutions, prepare, and deliver quotes, follow up on sales and closure
Forecast and manage EOL or warranty expirations for servers, workstations, network, hardware, software, etc.
Audit client environments against industry standards that ensure operational excellence or recommended cybersecurity controls, create tasks for engineering to adjust
Assist with project management / remediation of compliance requirements: HIPAA, NIST/DFARS, PCI etc.
Prepare, schedule, and hold Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly meetings with customers including reviewing stats, open service requests, project statues
Performing Technical Alignment Reviews
IT Documentation and written processes
Minimizing reactive issues
Building rapport and trusting relationships with clients
Assist in SOW and BOM creation
Participate in building out IT standards library
Identify technical risks
Knowledge of client environments
Track time and work

Must have at least 5 years’ experience supporting Windows in a commercial environment
Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, VMware, Citrix, Networking, Security
Independent-thinker and self-starter, who can work within a team environment
Be detail-oriented and produce good documentation
Excellent written and verbal communication
Intermediate Level: Windows desktop OS skills (Windows 7/8.1/10)
Intermediate Level: Windows Office application suite skills
Intermediate Level: Apple MacOS skills (MacOS 10.x.y)
Intermediate Level: Windows (Server 2008/2012/2016)
Intermediate Level: Network, UTM, Firewalls, Inter-intranet

Bonus Qualifications
Work experience at a Managed Service Provider
Microsoft certifications in Azure, Microsoft 365, Microsoft
Bachelors in English or Computer Science
Experience with RMM tools such as Kaseya or PSA tools such as Autotask
Experience with manufacturing environments
