Job Description
The DevOPS Engineer - AWS candidate will manage cloud infrastructure, assist with security and disaster recovery plans, and improve the maturity of our CI/CD development processes. This will involve working with AWS, and multi-platform skills. You will work to drive commonality and simplicity across the various deliverable artifacts in our environment. We're a DevOps team, responsible for environment builds, CI/CD and support of a variety of products.


Responsibilities
Environment Build and Support
CI/CD Pipeline build and automation
Day to Day collaboration with Scrum Teams, providing support to our developers and testers
Participation in a rotation for operations support, prod and non-prod
Participation in software release and deployment activities.
Writing appropriate levels of documentation.


Qualifications
5+ years of IT experience on web-based products
3 years equivalent experience in corporate information technology
Demonstrated programming experience
Familiarity with cloud provider offerings
Experience working on large scale, multiple team projects
Experience with Agile methodologies and Test-Driven Development
Experience with CI/CD tools (like Jenkins, Sonar, Maven, Docker, Ansible)
Experience with at least 1 scripting language such as (Perl, Python or PowerShell)
Experience with a relational database,(preferably a recent version of Oracle)

Optimal Candidates will have
Desire to optimize and automate processes
Experience with CI/CD tools
Specific AWS experience
Familiarity with both Microsoft and Linux platforms
Experience with PowerShell and Linux shell scripting
Some knowledge of Active Directory and LDAP
Understanding of VPN operation
Familiarity with ETL/data workflow automation

Pluses
AWS certifications
Experience with IaaS technologies
AWS Lambda experience
Experience with Cognito and SSO technologies
.NET Core, NodeJS, and Angular familiarity
Ability to work in a less structured startup environment, where initiative, dedication and flexibility are highly valued
