Autism Speaks Walk with the Gateway Academy – Scottsdale, AZ
At the Gateway Academy, they provide students with a different approach to learning, specializing in autism spectrum disorders and other pervasive developmental disorders. Autism Speaks is the largest autism advocacy organization, promoting solutions across the spectrum and throughout the life span for the needs of individuals with autism and their families.
Helping Hands and Caring Hearts – Rochester, NY
Helping Hands and Caring Hearts provides financial assistance through scholarship awards to students coming from low-income backgrounds. Each scholarship recipient will then give back to their community through service.
JP Morgan Corporate Challenge – Rochester, NY
The Corporate Challenge is a 5k race with the intention to celebrate corporate teamwork, camaraderie and community. The funds raised through this challenge goes to help the efforts of the United Way whose purpose is to solve critical challenges for local people in need.
Willow Center – Rochester, NY
Willow Center provides a full continuum of free and confidential services for individuals dealing with domestic violence situations. Their mission is to prevent domestic violence and ensure every survivor has access to the services and support they need.
Small Business Council of Rochester Thanksgiving Appeal – Rochester, NY
Each year the SBC of Rochester is committed to giving back by challenging the Rochester community to provide more than 3,000 families with food boxes so they can celebrate Thanksgiving dinner.
St. Mary’s Food Bank – Scottsdale, AZ
St. Mary’s Food Bank is the first food bank, they exist to help feed hungry families throughout Arizona. Individuals or organizations donate excess food to the bank for those in need. Today, they are one of the largest food banks in the United States.
G2:10 Community Outreach – Harrisburg, PA
This is a grass-roots initiative to provide assistance to the homeless community of Harrisburg, PA. Through donations and the dedication of volunteers, they are able to provide food and clothing for those in need.
Each one of these organizations brings to light a different cause. We are fortunate enough to work alongside these incredible individuals who all have a common goal: make this world better than how we found it. Next year, we hope to grow this list even more!
